In summer, Door County comes alive with families escaping the city, couples on weekend getaways, and generations returning to a place that feels like home. But when the warm weather fades, so do the crowds. Winter in Door County is quieter, slower — and for many families who live here year–round, it can be isolating.
This campaign is about changing that.
We are building a new outdoor ice rink and warming house that will serve as a vital, multi–generational gathering place in the heart of Northern Door County. This is more than a recreational facility — it’s a space where children can disconnect from screens, where families can come together, where grandparents can safely enjoy watching their grandkids skate, and where local businesses can thrive even during the quietest months of the year.
It’s a gift to our community — especially to those who live here all year long.
