A Rink to Build Community
In summer, Door County comes alive with families escaping the city, couples on weekend getaways, and generations returning to a place that feels like home. But when the warm weather fades, so do the crowds. Winter in Door County is quieter, slower — and for many families who live here year–round, it can be isolating. This campaign is about changing that.
A Rare Venue
Some communities offer a skating ribbon, while
others have built recreational rinks. A few have built
full–size competition rinks, but usually indoors.
The Sister Bay Ice Rink will combine the best of all of
these, creating a truly unique skating venue under the
stars in Sister Bay.
